Another Spooktacular ends, and what better way to close it out than with Halloween Ends—the final movie in the reboot trilogy. This time, we’re talking about Corey and how he’s madly in love with Michael Myers. Apparently, all it takes to make someone completely unhinged is to stare deep into Michael’s creepy eyes.

Expect plenty of face trauma and heavy horny energy coursing through this movie. Original final girl Laurie Strode is busy writing a memoir about surviving Michael a million times, which naturally makes the entire town hate her. Meanwhile, Laurie’s granddaughter, Allison, has to navigate (instantly???) falling in love with a soon-to-be serial killer. Plus, there’s a radio host who just has so, so many opinions. Will anyone shut him up?

The movie has a lot of threads it needs to wrap up. But as two people who hadn’t seen the second movie in the franchise (or even the first, in one case), it actually does a great job catching you up on the who’s who of Haddonfield.
