The boys dive into Nerve, a young adult movie based on the book by the same name. The movie isn’t based on a well known young adult series like The Maze Runner, The Hunger Games or Twilight, but hey, enough people liked the book to get the movie made. This is one of those high concept movies. If you wished Black Mirror was targeted towards teens, boy do we have the film for you!
Imagine the world was the same as it is now… but on the dark web lived a game called Nerve. It’s basically like truth or dare, but not at all. People dare you to do things for money and you do the thing and you get money. The game is a direct democracy on the internet. So if you’ve spent more than five minutes on the internet, you know where this movie will probably going with it’s message.
