The Other Half takes on the Brian De Palma movie, Snake Eyes. The movie itself starts off great. It even continues being great right after the second half, but somehow the last fifth of the movie complete drops the ball. It sucks because there should be more great Nic Cage movies in the world. Honestly, Nicolas Cage is fantastic in this movie. It’s just weird scenes like the one below that completely undercut the rest of the beauty of this movie.
Apparently, the final act of the movie, which was a massive action sequence, was cut. Instead, the final sequence of scenes is just a complete and utter mess.
Ah well, better luck next time Mr. Cage. You’re not running out of movies anytime soon.
